Kay Moden is Andre and Cristina, a studio specialising in the meaningful transformation of places people call “home.” With over a decade of experience in architectural design and construction, they have honed their expertise through formal training in Denmark and the UK, as well as practical experience in global cities such as Shanghai, Copenhagen, and London.

Founded in 2019, the studio began when Andre transitioned from commercial architecture to private residential design, bringing with him extensive knowledge of complex construction methods. Andre is passionate about using his expertise to positively impact the communities in which he builds.

Cristina joined a few years later after a long career in healthcare architecture, where she designed care and support centres for individuals in mental health crises. Through this work, she developed a deep understanding of the multi-sensory perception of physical environments, excelling at creating spaces that balance functionality with aesthetics.

Together, Andre and Cristina dedicate their technical and design expertise to crafting environments that inspire enjoyment of life. Their approach prioritises the natural, the timeless, and the sustainable, ensuring that each project enriches both its inhabitants and its surroundings.
